2015 Welcome and Halloween Party for Students of CDC –SSDPP BNU

The CDC-SSDPP student union organized a Halloween and welcome party for students in the department.

The party brought together students from the Master in social work, Contemporary Development of China both Chinese and International cohort. It was held on 30 October at 6pm, in room 2030 North main Building SSDPP.

The party begins with a dinner follow by an introduction game which was help students interact and know each other.

Students were seen wearing funny and scaring Halloween customs making the night amazing and the turnout was huge.

There were games such as one & half dollars, passing the straw, hit the balloon, musical chair dance;  Sushma Dhital 2015 international student  sang a Chinese song “The moon can tell my Heart” , a song & dance from the student union, a song from Linyanlin, a dance performance from the 2015 international cohort with the song title “The little Apple” and the final dance which involve everybody at the party.

However, small gifts were given to winners of the games which encouraged many other students to participate. Genesis Sanchez Mendoza was the final winner of the biggest game of the night.

“It was fun meeting and making friends” many of them said. Benjamin Nuamah Appiah, the activity coordinator from the International student’s cohort the students union for organizating the party; he also thanks the student body for the great time together. He stressed the need for much more wonderful collaboration in learning and experiencing during the period of their studies.
